Being able to catch a horse doesn't mean the horse knows it in a way that will always work. Circumstances may happen that makes the easy to catch horse hard to catch. If you want to make sure your horse knows how to get caught and is comfortable with it, teach yourself to communicate with horses through body language and practice so that your horse understands and knows the process (and catches you).

The video below shows 3 methods for catching shy or hard to catch horses - while making sure they feel comfortable and not trapped and without depending on treats. Treats will only work when the horse wants them or you bring treats with you. Your body language and communication skills are what truly matters and is something you always carry with you.

Thank you so much for watching! Hope this inspires you to communicate with your horse through action and body language, which is something horses appreciate and understand naturally.
