Elevate your horse training and riding skills to new heights with this unique adventure with Barb horses and Beduin horsemanship!
5 days of Eco luxury and amazing trail riding with sure footed and well behaved Barb horses in the beautiful Atlas Mountains (just one hour from Marrakech). During the stay we will do the connection exercise with the horses. In addition we have a special surprise for you that will bring out your inner Beduin and create a next level partnership with your horse, especially made for this group.

All meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) on site are included, beverages (alcoholic and non alcoholic) are not included, I will however personally bring plenty beer and wine to keep us hydrated and happy. Additional beverage can be bought on site.

There are 3 different restaurant options in the village where we are welcome to dine our meals which are included in the price:
The Farm restaurant - located at the foot of the estate’s rose garden, this open-air restaurant under net or Khaïma tent will provide guests with hearty breakfasts and friendly dinners. Guests can then spend the hours by the traditional camp fire while looking at the stars. There is an unsupervised pool available.
Tintar Restaurant - this restaurant, with its breathtaking panoramic views, is open for lunch and offers various facilities such as terraces, tents and the lunch room. Enjoy unrestricted views over the Douars, the valley and the Atlas Mountains. The pool here is supervised by a lifeguard. The Tintar restaurant is 250m from the lodges.
Village Nature Restaurant - facing the pristine 247,000 acres of the Toubkal National Park’s forests, this restaurant invites lodging tent guests to a gourmet breakfasts, and to taste traditional Berber meals at night time. Enjoy eating by the comfy fireplace or on the terrace with panoramic views.

The accommodation offers high levels of comfort in traditional Berber style tents with all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay (electricity, bedroom, shared bathroom facilities) including the possibility to upgrade to single supplement or luxury lodge.

Q: Is this event suitable for all levels of horse riders? A: Absolutely!​ To ensure everyone gets the trail ride of their dreams the group can be divided according to preference if necessary as there are 2 guides on site. Wherever you want to ride slow or fast you will find a group that suits you.

Q: What can I expect from the experiences and activities? A: The specially crafted experiences and trail rides provide empowering insights to enhance your riding skills and connection with horses.

Q: What's included in the event package? A: All accommodation and meals on site, riding, guiding and coaching is included. Free access to swimming pool and the facilities such as terraces, garden, dining area etc. Transport to and from airport is also included. Beverages are not included.

The meals offered may contain eggs, diary products, nuts, gluten and meat. Vegetarian or other dietary requirements within reason can be accommodated with advance notice.

Q: How`s the accommodation? A: The accommodation is semi-permanent tents which are made from earth and canvas beduin style. The tents have 1 bedroom and a lounge area and are decorated beautifully with local decor. The bathroom facilities are shared: there are 2 bathrooms blocks with 14 showers and 10 toilets.
All tents have welcome products, a power supply of 220v and a private terrace area with deckchairs and stunning views. The tents are approximately 250m away from the stables. The reception area at the Nature Village is manned 24 hours a day but there is no Wi-Fi available in the tented area.
Upgrade to single supplement or luxury lodge with private bathroom, toilet and terrace can be arranged upon request.

Q: Can I get a refund if I'm unable to attend? A: If you have bought the event and are unable to attend you can transfer or sell your stay to someone else as long as you inform us of the change.
If something occurs that prevents you from attending or it`s not possible to sell the ticket to someone else we suggest you take out travel insurance to cover you for late cancellation.
If you are not able to use travel insurance and need to cancel after your balance has been paid you may incur the following fees: 30-55 days prior: pay 50% of the price. Less than 30 days: pay 100% of the event price.

Q: How can I secure my spot for the Ride Like a Viking Gathering? A: To secure your spot, simply complete the registration form. Thereafter you complete the payment to the hosts.

Q: When is it? A: The Ride Like a Viking Gathering is from Thursday 12th to Monday 16th of November. It is 4 night and 5 days during a perfect time to visit Morocco as it`s expected to be comfortable temperatures and nice weather.

Q: What happens after registration? A: Once you have secured your spot you'll receive an email with all the information you need to attend as well as a product with program and everything you need to join inside the Ride Like a Viking portal.

Q: Where is it and how do I get there? A: The Eco Lodge is situated 1 hour drive from Marrakech airport in Morocco, in the beautiful surroundings of the Atlas Mountains. Plane tickets London-Marrakech are available from 150 USD. Transfer to and from airport is included. ​

Q: Do I have to ride or train horses during the stay? A: You do not have to ride horses during the stay, there are plenty of other activities on site, such as

Archery - try your hand at this sport which epitomizes precision and quick achievement.
Zip wire - an outstanding course fitted with zip wires, a monkey bridge and a suspension bridge.
Accro Park - experience an adventure assault courses through the tree-tops! Suitable for children and adults alike.
Mountain biking - in the Atlas Mountains the beauty of silence and wild nature is breathtaking.
Hiking - there are various guided walking trips to join.
Climbing - start with an introductory climbing course at the Amanar rock.
Disc Golf - A developing sport played with frizbees, disc-golf is a playful and outdoor sport for all.
Craft Workshops - Stay for a while in the craftsmen’s village, meet with them, share their history, expertise and wealth.
Children's Play Park - this is a playground fully dedicated to children over 4 years old. Managed by our supervisors, the children will play numerous activities such as Accro Park Junior, trampolines, swings and slides while the older ones can enjoy the BMX course.
Swimming, relaxing and reading - take your time and live as you please. You can choose to do nothing, nap by the “Tintar” pool or play parlour games and table tennis while admiring the panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains. The library at the lodge has a significant importance and presents many different books, music and films on the Berber culture and life in Morocco.
