The process of making our idea Glannis idea when leaving the stable has been very effective and made a huge difference in his motivation, straightness and responsiveness to signals.
This is because the secret to liberty riding isn`t necessarily obedience but rather taking the time to make our idea the horse`s idea. This is very easy to do and it also fixes problems we are experiencing when riding with reins. Such as:
Spooking and anxiety on trails or in the arena
Horse wanting to rush or bolt homewards
Horse being barn sour and/or herd bound
You have a rearing problem with your horse
