Viking Sheep Fur
Viking Sheep furs are ideal in front of the fireplace, over your favorite chair, or to add a touch of luxury in your bedroom, garden or when camping.
We offer unique and exclusive furs from Old Norwegian Sheep; the same breed the Vikings kept as livestock 1 000 years ago. The furs are from happy, healthy, and naturally kept sheep on Myrvangen farm. They live in herds and roam outside year-round, with access to large mountain pastures in summer and forage, straw bedding and housing in winter. Each fur is a gift from nature and our Viking heritage - that lasts a lifetime.
We use our furs all year, outdoors as well as indoors. They are perfect to bring along when camping and will add a touch of authentic glamping to any trip and keep you warm. Exstensive outdoors use, rain, water (and beer) has not damaged our furs. Our oldest fur is from 2005 and is still going strong on trails as well in the sofa.

The furs have long wool, with 100% natural color and are 100% biodegradable. All furs are from sustainable and animal-friendly farming on Myrvangen in Norway. Each fur comes with an information brochure and Myrvangen Farm logo brand.
All furs can be mashine washed on wool program, however I do not recomaned it cause the wool is so long it`s going to get tangled like dread locks.
Through the lanoline content in the wool, sheep furs are naturally anti-bacterial, as well as dirt and water repellent. After being used for a while, we advise brushing up the wool with a soft hairbrush.
If your fur gets stained, dampen the fur with lukewarm water, cover the stain with potato starch and rub it. Leave it to dry and vacuum, brush or shake the dry starch and the stain away.
